Before heading to the slopes, ask someone with experience to join you. And even if you are an experienced skier, don’t try to be adventurous and stay on the marked trails. Keep drinking lots of water to avoid dehydration that might occur rapidly and also keep yourself well fed as you'll be burning up lots of calories. Check weather condition before heading to the mountain, check the weather report. Mountain websites will have live information about weather and road condition and when you are up on the mountain pay attention to the weather time to time. Be responsible when it comes to interactions with other skiers, the more experienced skiers are responsible for their actions; you’re always responsible for getting out of the way of the person in front of you. If you feel hypothermia or extreme cold head indoors and try to warm up and don’t come out till you feel better.

A fun skiing trip is one that is free from injuries. If you learn how to ski safely, you will have a great time on your next trip. Enjoy your skiing holiday but don’t pound down the booze. Ski performance is not improved by the over indulgences of the night before and a hangover will not make your day more fun. Never drink while skiing.
